Who is responsible
Miracle is a tool for authors and sellers on Amazon, published by the publisher of KNPLIV, a private individual. Under article 6-III-2 of French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy, their name and address are not published; they have been given to the host.

What Miracle stores
- Your account: your email address, your name if you give it, your password as a hash (never in clear), your language and time zone.
- Your sign-ins: for each session, its date, the IP address and browser used, and a log of sign-ins and important actions, for the account’s security.
- What you import or enter: KDP reports, advertising reports, seller statements, products, keywords, Markets, competitors, notes, saved listings and names to flag. This data stays in your workspace; no other user can see it, except the members you invite.
- If you connect an Amazon account (Amazon Ads or Seller Central): the authorization Amazon issues, stored encrypted — never your Amazon password. The data Amazon returns is used for your workspace only, is neither shared nor sold, and is deleted when you withdraw the authorization.
What Miracle looks up for you
When you look a product up by its ASIN or ISBN, Miracle sends that code — and nothing else — to the catalogues of KNPLIV, Open Library and the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Miracle never reads Amazon’s web pages.
Miracle queries Amazon only through its official APIs (Amazon Ads, Selling Partner API), and only if you connect and authorise your account. It reads neither the site’s pages nor the suggestions of Amazon’s search box. The phrases you paste in “Pasted list” are analysed in your browser: they are never sent to Amazon, and reach Miracle only if you choose to do something with them — track them (Keywords), put them in a Market, open one in Niche (it is then in the page’s address) or add them to a listing you save.
Trade mark checks query no register from Miracle: the link opens the official search (TMview, EUIPO, INPI, USPTO) in your browser with the word you are checking, and the office’s own site then receives your visit. What you note of the result stays in your workspace.
What Miracle does not do
No advertising tracker, no audience measurement, no profiling, no sale or transfer of data. Fonts are served by Miracle itself: your browser calls no outside service to display the pages.
Cookies and browser storage
- miracle_session: your session, needed to stay signed in (30 days).
- miracle_locale: the language you chose.
- In your browser’s local storage: the light or dark theme, the chosen period, your product selection in Discover, and in “Pasted list” the list you paste and the draft of “My listing”. The theme, the period and the selection are not sent to Miracle; the list and the draft are sent only for what you choose to send: the phrases you track (Keywords) or put in a Market, the one you open in Niche, the title whose official registers you ask for, and the listing you save to your account.
These cookies are strictly necessary for the service: they need no consent, and Miracle sets no other.
Hosting
Miracle runs on a virtual private server rented from OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France; the server is in France (Gravelines). Your data does not leave the European Union, except the exchanges with Amazon when you connect your Amazon account.
How long data is kept
- Account and workspace data: as long as the account exists; deleted with it.
- Sessions: 30 days.
- Web server logs (IP address, page requested): 14 days.
- Log of sign-ins and important actions: 12 months.
- Data returned by Amazon: until the authorization is withdrawn.
- Backup copies, made before each update of Miracle: 90 days.
On what basis
Account and workspace data are processed to provide the service you ask for (article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The sign-in log and the server logs serve the service’s security, a legitimate interest (article 6(1)(f)).
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction, erasure or portability, the restriction of its processing, or object to it, through KNPLIV’s contact form. Deleting the account deletes your workspace’s data. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr). www.knpliv.com/contact
