Publisher of the site

KNPLIV is published by a private individual, in a non-professional capacity: the site sells nothing, carries no advertising, takes part in no affiliate programme and earns no income.

Under article 6-III-2 of French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004, the publisher has chosen not to make their name and address public. Those details have been given to the host, named below, and will be disclosed to the judicial authority should it so require.

For any question, complaint or removal request, write through the contact form: messages are read by the publisher, who is also the publication director.

Hosting

The site runs on a virtual private server rented from OVH SAS (OVHcloud), 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France — ovhcloud.com. The server is located in France (Gravelines).

Intellectual property

Titles, covers, blurbs and articles published on KNPLIV remain the property of their authors. They are submitted by them, under their responsibility, and removed at their request.

Reporting

Any manifestly unlawful content, or content published without the rights holder's consent, can be reported through the Contact page; it is removed after review. Every reader review also carries a “Report” button that alerts the moderator directly.

Readers' reviews

Reviews published on book pages are not verified: we do not check that their author has read or bought the book. They are read over before publication and shown with their publication date, newest first. No review is published in exchange for anything, and we neither buy nor solicit reviews.

A review is refused if it is not about the book, if it is abusive, defamatory or discriminatory, if it discloses personal data, if it is advertising, or if it is plainly one of a series. A published review that receives three reports is withdrawn automatically pending a fresh review. The author of a review may ask for its removal through the Contact page. Reviews are kept for as long as the book's page exists.
