Privacy

If you list a book without an account

We keep the email address you provide, your IP address and the date of submission. None of it is displayed: this data lets us reply to you and, as the law requires of any host, identify who supplied a piece of content should a rights holder dispute it.

If you open an account

Your pen name, your email address and the password you choose (stored as a hash, never in clear text), then whatever you submit.

If you leave a review, report one, or submit a tool

For a review: the name you choose to display (optional), your email address, your IP address and the date. Only the name and the text appear. For a report: a fingerprint derived from your IP address, used solely to count one report per person per review — the address itself is not kept in that table. For a submitted tool: your email address and your IP address, never displayed.

What we do not do

No advertising trackers, no profiling, no sale of data. The site sets a single cookie, your session cookie, and only if you sign in.

What is public

Your pen name, your biography, your published books and articles. Your email address is never displayed.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and removal of your publications, through the Contact page.
